Our Story & Heritage
Founded over a decade ago by passionate local educators and chess enthusiasts, LIGA DISTRITAL DE AJEDREZ CHULUCANAS began with just a few wooden boards and a shared dream. We noticed that children in our communities needed a constructive outlet—a place to develop patience, critical thinking, and emotional resilience. Today, we are a fully recognized non-profit bridging the gap between education and social well-being.
